Katja Kunzke is the President and CEO. She joined WILMIC in 1989 as head of the claims department and held that position until 2003. Katja is a former member of the ABA Committee on Lawyers Professional Liability in addition to being a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Dane County Bar Association. She is also on the board of directors for the National Association of Bar Related Insurance Companies, currently serving as President elect, and the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies, Property and Casualty Conference.

Katja has two wonderful daughters.  Halle is a high school sophomore fashionista who is currently seeking a country to rule. Katey is a high school Special Ed teacher, married to James Kamoku, and mother of Kona.
