Donald Heaney was president of the State Bar in 1985-86 when he and other Wisconsin lawyers responded to the state of the market by founding Wisconsin Lawyers Mutual. Heaney is a partner in the Madison firm of Lathrop & Clark, LLP, where he specializes in business litigation.
Not only does Heaney serve as the unofficial company historian, but his long view also guides major Board and Executive Committee decisions.
